Adult Tennis

AHSTC has brought back our adult tennis coach John Woelfel for a fourth year.   We are very excited to have John back – see his bio below for details about his tennis background.  John will be teaching the class schedule below; please also feel free to contact John directly for private lessons throughout the summer.

2023 Adult Clinics

Beginner | This class is for players with little to no tennis experience. We cover basics of footwork, groundstrokes, volleys and serves.

Advanced Beginner | This class is for players who have taken the beginner class or have some tennis experience, but are not ready for match play. We will expand on the fundamentals of the beginner class with a focus on match readiness.

Adult 2.5 | In this class, players should be familiar with all tennis strokes and play matches but struggle with consistency and control.

Adult 3.0 | Players have played for several years and can use all tennis strokes reliably but struggle with difficult shots and effective tactics.
