Welcome to Dive Team

Welcome to the AHSTC Dive Team! The South Seattle Summer Dive League (SSSDL) was adopted in 2008. It was designed to introduce young people to dive and encourage their enjoyment of diving in a safe and positive environment. We invite members 5-18 years old to join the AHSTC dive team. All skill levels ranging from year-round club divers and brand-new divers are supported by our experienced coaching staff.

Spring dive practice is offered at the end of May a few days a week after school. We understand that school and extracurricular activities are still taking place, so this is an optional dive practice. Summer practice begins at the end of June through the end of July and are held daily Monday through Friday mornings. There are three Friday evening dive meets held in July, ending with the All City Dive Meet.

2024 Dive Registration

All skill levels are welcome, but must be willing to jump off the diving board and able to swim unaccompanied to the side of the pool.
Team registration is required prior to practice. If you have questions, contact ah-dive@ahstc.com.

Meet Our 2024 Coaches

Ryan started diving at the age of 8 in his hometown of Chicago. He was a high school conference champion, and placed 14th in Illinois high school State competition his senior year. He competed in NCAA D2 for the University of Indianapolis, and coached for the Western Hills Country Club dive team in Cincinnati, OH.

In his spare time he enjoys exploring his adopted city of Seattle, hiking and scuba diving.

Ryan is excited to be part of the Arb community!

Olivia is an incoming Junior at Gonzaga University. She started diving at age 8 at Gregory Seahurst, where she dove every summer until college, winning All City four times. She was a varsity diver at Kennedy Catholic High School, placing 12th in State as a senior. Olivia served as Assistant Dive Coach at Gregory, and has also judged, announced, and reffed meets, including reffing All City in 2023. Despite growing up at a competing pool, she is excited to be part of the Arbor community!
